Results of Survey on Consumer
Expectations of Population in 2003
The publication
based on the data collected by the state statistical bodies while conducting
the sample survey on consumer expectations of population.
The bulletin
presents the following results of the sample survey on consumer expectations
of population for 1998-2001 to the entire Russian Federation: characteristics
of respondents (the structure of universe by main social and demographic
groups, by type of resident settlement and composition of household), indices
of consumer expectation of population (by the whole universe and by selected
categories), and data on distribution of responses to the complete list
of questions included in the questionnaire. Indices of consumer expectation
of population (individual and generalized) were calculated according to
main principles of the methodology of the European Commission applied in
many countries for harmonization of surveys of consumers.
The bulletin
contains methodological guidelines: information on organisation and conduction
of the survey, the algorithm of the consumer expectations of population
index, comments on categories and definitions used.

to the bulletin additional information is presented including selected
