Statistical Yearbook of Russia 2004 Paper / CD-ROM Handbook contains the statistics on social and economic condition of the Russian Federation in 2002 in comparison with previous years. There provided the data on major socio- and economic performances of the Russian Federation, information that describes geographic and climatic conditions of Russia, data on environment and national welfare. The Yearbook covers information on population, employment and money incomes as well as on social security. The System of National Accounts (SNA) contains indicators characterizing macroeconomic aspects of the setting up and functioning of market economy. Social and Economic Situation in Russia The report is a monthly publication of the Goskomstat of Russia which contains current complex information related to socio-economic situation of Russia, the subjects of the Russian Federation, sectors and industries of the economy covering the latest month and the period from the beginning of year. Key socio-economic indicators are arranged as series covering months and quarters of the current and the previous year. This report is compiled by the central body of the Goskomstat of Russia based on the data captured by the state statistical bodies and by ministries and agencies of the Russian Federation (Ministry of Finance, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Transport, State Customs Committee, Central Bank, Federal Migration Service and others).
