Input – Output Tables of Russia 2001 The handbook presents concise symmetric Input-Output tables for 2001 (known as cross-sectors balance of production and distribution of output) as well as tables of imported and domestic production use, taxes and subsidies on products. Input-Output tables are the inalienable part of the System of National Accounts and represent detailed characteristics on production and use of goods and services. The e-version release of the Goskomstat of Russia contains the most important economic indicators of Russia on the whole: GDP and its structure, volume of industrial output, agricultural output, transport freight turnover, fixed capital investments, foreign trade turnover, deficit of consolidated budget, retail and catering turnover, consumer price indices, value of minimal basket of foodstuffs. There are financial indicators included in the issue: income and expenses, tax payments in the budgets of different levels, credit investments in the economy, debtor receivables and creditor payables, overdue wages of enterprises and agencies. The «Prices» section gives information on price indices of producers by branches of economy, average producer prices for energy resources and oil refined products, price indices of construction and installation works, freight shipments, the agricultural output sold and consumer price index. International Comparisons of Gross Domestic Product The handbook is the most complete publication containing the results of international comparisons of gross domestic product (GDP) for 1999 that were compiled according to OECD – Eurostat program with participation of 43 countries of Europe, Asia and America and for 2000 for CIS countries and Mongolia. Tables of the publication contain GDP estimations in unified currency for 2000, purchasing power parities, comparable levels of prices for groups of goods and services for all countries participating in international comparisons. The statistical bulletin was compiled upon results of sample survey of 49.2 thousand households budgets. The bulletin comprises data on the breakdown of population by the property welfare level, foodstuffs consumption, consumption of goods and services, money income and living conditions of population. It also includes data that features consumer expenses make up of urban and rural families of various composition. Main Indicators of Construction
and Investment Activities in the Russian Federation
The bulletin publishes the information on construction and investments activities in Russia as well as on other issues which make it possible to have a comprehensive picture of Russia’s construction complex in 2002. It represents indicators characterizing changes and structure of investments in the fixed capital by sources of financing, types of property, by branches of the economy and industry. Detailed classification of investments in fixed capital is presented for the first time (dwellings, buildings except dwellings, structures’ machines and equipment, tools, small tools).
